Lisa Cherry
Lisa Cherry has seen a lot in 27 years of parenting her 10 children. But the experience of bringing her first daughter through the crisis of being sexually abused by a member of her church was unlike anything she was prepared for. On the victory side of the pain, she is equipped to share with other parents the essential keys to successfully protecting and navigating children through times of crisis. Lisa and her husband, Doug, are in their thirteenth year of co-pastoring Victory Christian Center of Southern Illinois (Now Victory Dream Center of Carbondale, IL). Together they also founded REALITY Youth Center in Carbondale, Illinois and Frontline Family Ministries. They have a family radio ministry, "Frontline Families," in which they discuss multiple facets of developing a healthy, spiritually vibrant family. The newest addition in their national POTTS (Parents of Teen and Tweens) ministry in which Teen Mania Ministries is an affilitated supporter. Lisa is once again a conference speaker for Teen Mania's Aquire the Fire (ATF) 2011/2012 tour. Lisa has her BS in Nursing from Southern Illinois University. Lisa and Doug have a passion to see families become united in vision, valiant in battle, yielded in will, and passionate in service for Jesus Christ. Lisa is an anointed Bible teacher who has a special gifting with women, teens, and children. She has been married to Doug for 30 years.
Kalyn (Cherry) Waller
Kalyn Waller completed her Bachelors Degree in Social Work at Southern Illinois University in the fall of 2009. She has a passion to see children and youth in this generation avoid the snares of the world, and find the lifesaving power of Jesus Christ. Kalyn is the daughter of Pastors Doug and Lisa Cherry from Carbondale, Illinois. She graduated from Teen Mania Ministries’ internship program, The Honor Academy, in 2005. She
previously worked for Southern Illinois Regional Social Services Crisis
Counseling Team. Currently, Kalyn is employed by Victory Dream Center and REALITY Youth Ministry in Carbondale. After a God honoring courtship Kalyn married her lifelong husband, Adam Waller, in August 2010.
